Ganbara Faktoria is a project formed by very diverse groups, as diverse and different as the ingredients of a recipe which, once they are all mixed, create a great dish.
Likewise, each ingredient bears its own identity and its own being. The same happens to the different groups that form Ganbara Faktoria: Ganbara Kantu Eskola (Workshops, Ganbara Txikitxo, Ganbara Txiki), Hots Abesbatza and Ganbara Abesbatza.
Each group, individually or together, shares a common milestone: to promote the choral music and ensure the survival of it by maintaining fondness for music.

Ganbara Faktoria is a project created in 1994 which goal was to support the survival of the music in Oñati and at the same time to inspire the children of the town in their love for music. By doing so, they created a space for each of the age groups that were part of Faktoria: Workshops, Ganbara Txikitxo, Ganbara Txiki, Ganbara Gazte Abesbatza, Hots Abesbatza and Ganbara Abesbatza.
Hots Abesbatza is a female choir drew from Ganbara Abesbatza. It was created at the end of 2016 and its voices are not only from Oñati but also from the surrounding area and other provinces. Nowadays it has 40 men and women who performs high-quality music in a very diverse repertoire.
Oñatiko Ganbara Abesbatza is a mixed choir created in 1994. Its main goal is to perform choral music, but also to enjoy it so that it can be brought to its highest level and utmost splendour. Nowadays, the choir is still loyal to their initial spirit and it has on its ranks around 40 singers.
It is a school created under the umbrella of Oñatiko Ganbara Abesbatza. The goal is not other but to fulfill those gaps found in the children's choir world and at the same time to promote the love for music among them. It is the 'reservoir' of Oñatiko Ganbara Abesbatza, where 'the magic begins' and it is formed by children between 3 and 18 years old. Here, children get to know choral music, they are risen up with and in music, they play, they sing, they learn and they grow as a family.
AEQUUS ENSEMBLE is an instrumental ensemble formed by musicians from various parts of the Basque Country, offering the opportunity for string instrument students to tackle an attractive and demanding repertoire. Aequus Ensemble is part of Ganbara Faktoria, which allows it to regularly participate in symphonic-choral programs. Furthermore, in line with the goal of promoting instrumental music, Aequus Ensemble organizes educational concerts for young instrumentalists and music students.
Our own voice can turn out to be a strong spell. The voice is the tool we use to convince each other, to tell the truth, to tell stories. Music is also an enchantment. It is used to move people and also to unite them. In Ganbara Faktoria we are trying to create the greatest enchantment ever seen, and to do so, we just mix our voices and music as the only ingredients. Would you like to do some magic with us? Within Ganbara Faktoria we have several options, you just have to use the one that best suits you: Hots Abesbatza (female choir), Ganbara Abesbatza (mixed choir) and Ganbara Kantu Eskola. The goal of all of them is not other than to help you grow your own magic. We will teach you how to use your voice through singing lessons and to create music in a friendly atmosphere. We want to know you. Enchant us with your voice and let's do some magic together.
